Requirement:
When leading independent Audi and Volkswagen dealership, Foster Motor Company, identified a need to upgrade its used-car sales offices, it was keen to replace its old building with contemporary, stylish accommodation that would enhance the customer experience.

Solution:
Having worked with Portakabin Allspace in the past and built up a good relationship, Foster Motor Company approached the modular building supplier with its wish list and budget for the new building. 

From the options proposed by Portakabin Allspace, the dealership's preferred solution was a Portakabin Ultima modular building. These large, attractive buildings are specially designed to offer exceptional thermal efficiency and provide a high-quality working environment.

Peter Quinn, Sales Director at Foster Motor Company, says: “We wanted to tailor the building to our requirements, and the Portakabin building gave us that flexibility. We were particularly keen to ensure it did not look like a temporary building, so we wanted to incorporate some interesting design features.” 

To give the building this unique appearance, Portakabin Allspace designed an Ultima building with large picture windows and a recessed main entrance door with a sheltered porch. As well as enhancing the look of the building, the large windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a welcoming environment for customers and a bright, inspiring workplace for the sales team. 

The building was delivered and installed by Portakabin Allspace, ready for the team of six sales people to move in. The spacious building features three individual offices, plus an open-plan area with two sales stations, a customer lounge and a reception.

Peter adds: “The building achieves the permanent look and feel we wanted for these offices, and provides precisely the facilities we need. Initial reactions from the team have been positive, and everyone has been impressed by the new building.”
